Navarre - Gulf Breeze
Navarre has grown from being a small town of around 1,500 in 1970 to a town with a population estimated at 41,490 as of 2020. Navarre is an unincorporated community in Santa Rosa County in the Northwest Florida Panhandle. Home to Navarre Beach as well as several miles of beaches within the Navarre Marine Beach Park and the Gulf National Islands Seashore, Navarre is a rapidly growing coastal community of nature enthusiasts, families, and retirees.
Gulf Breeze is a city in Santa Rosa County and is a suburb of Pensacola. In 2020, the census reported a population of 6,900. In 1828, the US Government purchased the land encompassing the Naval Live Oaks Reservation for experimenting with acorns for the cultivation of live oaks to produce wooden ships. The Naval Live Oaks Reservation is now part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore.
